Open Maker Lab

$5 Open Maker Lab (in person only) all ages, Tuesdays - Saturdays 11a - 6p

Our interactive maker lab boasts 14 different maker areas like Papaw’s Woodworking, Kids Place, JJ’s Crafter’s Studio, and JD’s Science and Technology Studio to name a few. All kids are born inventors ~ we help them learn multiple skills, develop independence and confidence, and encourage creativity and design. An adult must stay with children participating in Open Maker Lab.

*For the best experience, you can call ahead or send an email to ensure the Maker Lab is not full.

*Reserve a studio for you and/or your family to ensure exclusive use and social distancing.

(Note that some maker lab activities require the purchase of additional materials or that you bring your own. Examples include the use of our specialty printers, making tote bags, canvases, t-shirts or other custom items.)

Learning Support Pods

$15 - 1 hour, $25 - 2 hours Learning Support Pods (in person or virtual) for all ages, Tuesdays - Saturdays, 11a - 1p and 4p - 6p

Learners receive hands-on minds-on attention from a trained instructor who provides both small group and individual instruction. Students can complete classwork for their virtual, hybrid, or homeschool courses while being supported by professionals. Our pods allow for children in non-traditional school settings to get support while parents or caregivers are at work, running errands, or for additional learning support in complex subject areas. Pods provide a safe learning environment and socialization with others while adhering to social distancing best practices. We have 6 private work rooms to allow for social distancing and reliable, fast internet access available for virtual students. Students in our learning support pods receive:

  • Help with school assignments

  • One on one tutoring

  • Enrichment in STEAM and Maker Education

Tiny Tinkerers

$15 Tuesdays 2pm for ages 1-2 (in person or virtual)

Expand your little one's learning experiences through interactive and purposeful play. This class focuses on building fine and gross motor skills as well as reinforcing object permanence, the senses, and mindfulness. Students will enjoy activities including:

  • Tiny hands

  • Where did it go?

  • Pass it on

and many more! Each session includes make 'n take activities and at-home extensions. Parent / Caregiver participation is needed for these sessions.

mini makers

$15 Tuesdays 4pm for ages 3-5 (in person or virtual)

Bring your 3-5 year olds to Imagine Foundry for Mini Makers, a class where Preschoolers will love expressing themselves while exploring various materials and tools. Students will make n’ take various creations using each new skill and new type of material. Students will learn school readiness skills by:

  • Practicing maker space safety

  • Learning safe scissor and glue usage

  • Exploring common crafting materials

  • Applying knowledge of tools and materials to create

MUSIC SPROUTS

$15 Tuesdays 1pm or 5pm for ages 1-5 (in person or virtual)

Learn music together with your 'lil sprout and sow seeds of music early to develop an interest and passion for sounds, instruments, and genres of music that will grow and develop with your children. Learning music at an early age can accelerate brain development in young children including processing sound, language development, speech perception, and reading skills. Students will develop music skills by:

  • Learning about notes and counts

  • Practicing rhythm through clapping and body movement

  • Exploring pitch and solfege with the xylophone and keyboard

  • Listening to and singing songs with hand motions

Explore Art

$15 Wednesdays 4pm for all ages (in person or virtual)

Are you ready to release your inner artist? Experience a variety of art media as professional artist Ms. Donna teaches a custom-tailored art class designed around her students.

  • Complete a step-by-step guided painting

  • Imagine, design, and create your own painting

  • Learn multiple techniques and use a variety of media

  • Make 'n take a work of art every class session

Creative Writer's Workshop

$15 Thursdays 4pm for all ages (in person or virtual)

Encounter writing in a new way through this interactive approach to creative writing. Learn concepts including organization, voice, flow and word choice. In our writer’s workshops, students will:

  • Develop ideas about stories and poetry

  • Learn about authors and their works

  • Write a short story or poem

  • Investigate publishing options and self-publish online

The Fusion Vault

$15 Fridays 4pm for ages 10-15 (in person or virtual)

Do you have a "tween" or teen in need of a place to hang? Looking to get them involved in cool, fun activities full of learning opportunities? The Fusion Vault may be the answer! Our unique approach integrates social emotional learning into weekly STEAM challenges that require collaboration, problem-solving, patience, and determination.

  • Learn & practice socialization skills

  • Complete STEAM challenges every session

  • Make & keep friends

  • Develop self-confidence & efficacy

Beans & Brushes

$15 Saturdays 11am for adults (in person or virtual)

Join Imagine Foundry with professional artist Donna Bonine for a customized painting on canvas. She will be your guide in creating your own artwork in this 2-hour session. Enjoy a cup of your favorite morning coffee or tea, mingle with other adults, and learn painting techniques! Whether you are a beginner or advanced artist, this is surely a morning you will enjoy! We provide the materials - you provide the imagination and creativity!

No need to find a sitter - Bring the kids for an added $2 each and allow them to adventure in our Maker Lab with Ms. Jessa for the duration of your art class.

Family Paint Party

$15 Saturdays 2pm for all ages (in person or virtual)

Join Imagine Foundry with professional artist Donna Bonine for a customized acrylic painting on canvas. She will be your family's guide in creating your own family created artwork in this 2-hour session. Enjoy an afternoon of fun with your family, socialize with other families, and learn painting techniques! Whether you are a beginner or advanced artist, this is surely an activity you will enjoy! Class is $15 per family (1 canvas) - we provide the materials - you provide the imagination and creativity!

Scientists Workshop

$15 Wednesdays/Saturdays for all ages (in person or virtual)

Conduct experiments, imagine new inventions, create concoctions and learn about scientists in our Scientists Workshops. See the dates below for days, times, and topics.
